Other than a masters degree or PhD, are there any other requirements for teaching ONLINE undergrad courses?

You don’t need certification to teach college courses, either on campus or online.

It depends on the institution. U of Phoenix for example, require “real world” experience in your teaching area. Universities in general require a Masters for undergraduate courses, but the jobs are more difficult to get. If you get a Ph.D., Ed.D. or Psy.D. you should not have a great deal of difficulty.

Good Luck

YOu have to prove that you’re computer literate. It might seem obvious, but there are a lot of PhD’s and Master’s degree holders who are complete morons when it comes to computers. And teaching an online course requires a lot more computer literacy than teaching it in person.

But i’m just guessing. Never taught a class before in my life :D
